AFP sub-contracts IDS for KUNA Disaster Recovery Site (01/12/2009)

AFP has chosen IDS as a partner for executing its agreement with Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) , to ensure operation amid crises and provide backup for current operation systems at KUNA headquarters. The project aims to bolster the news agency’s electronic environment and resources by making all the data on KUNA’s website and archives retrievable and remotely accessible in an emergency situation.

 The Backup site, hosted in Paris, not only encompasses KUNA’s data but also doubles up as a data center providing another access point to KUNA news. To achieve this IDS, integrated real time updates between the servers and load balancing applications within the workflow framework.
