PHP TEAM LEADER

As a PHP Team Leader, you will be a key part of the IDS web development group, working individually and as part of a team involved in the design, development, deployment, and support of custom websites and web applications.

Requirements :

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
  • Proven software development experience in PHP/Laravel/WordPress.
  • Proven experience in implementing HTML/customized design on a WordPress engine, for a fully responsive customized website.
  • At least 4 years of experience in developing websites and web applications using PHP, WordPress (Drupal is a plus).
  • Knowledge in WordPress plugins, using ready ones and creating new ones. Strong leadership and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage PHP projects and be the point of contact with the clients/project managers.
  • Supervise junior developers and delegate tasks.
  • Develop, deploy and maintain PHP based websites.
  • Architect and implement enterprise websites using WordPress, Laravel (Drupal is a plus).
  • Translate wireframes, design files, and functional requirements into an application or website.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of a web application.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Work with multiple projects simultaneously, with competing and conflicting deadlines.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of PHP object oriented and MySQL.
  • Strong Knowledge of Ecommerce websites development.
  • Hands on experience in jQuery, bootstrap.
  • Experience HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with creating plugins and themes for WordPress.
  • Experience in Laravel
  • Good Experience in open source platforms such as WordPress and Drupal CMS Development.
  • Working knowledge of XML/JSON, knowledge in building and using 3rd party API’s.
  • Be willing to work in a research capacity – to find and test and critically review open-source
  • frameworks and technologies.
  • Able to work efficiently with minimal guidance or supervision.
  • Knowledge in Shopify, Prestashop, Magento, joomla, or opencart platforms is a plus.
