Objective
To identify new business opportunities, generate leads, pitch products and services to new clients and develop marketing and sales strategies.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop growth strategy focused on both increasing profitability and customer satisfaction
- Find and develop new markets and improve sales
- Follow-up and research new business opportunities and arrange business meetings with potential clients
- Pursue leads and set them through the sales cycle
- Promote the company’s products and services addressing or predicting clients’ purposes
- Plan and prepare presentations
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
- Oversee the development of marketing materials
- Write reports
- Develop quotations and proposals for clients
- Provide management with feedback about the business and the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
- 3 years of experience in sales, marketing or related field
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Experience in selling software business applications and development projects
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
