Tasks and Duties:
- Understand existing projects
- Understand specifications documents
- Develop requested modifications to existing products
- Develop new modules on products
- Code optimization
- Test own code
- Train beginner developers
- Assign work to other developers and follow up on it; review other developers' code
- Record tasks in daily worksheets
- Keep track of raised issues and discussions concerning the product
- Discuss new specifications concerning the product with system analysts
- Participate in analysis of requirements
- Assist other developers
