The website developed by IDS for KAMCO is an active extension of KAMCO’s core operations as a provider of innovative and performance driven financial solutions.

Nevertheless, the goals of the project were focused around the portal’s ability to enhance all aspects of KAMCO’s services.

The portal integrates with IDS VESTIO Trading System (VTS), which provides KAMCO clients with a fully automated stock trading solution with the Kuwait Stock Exchange without broker intermediation, in addition to providing many analytical tools that enhance decision-making and minimize trade risks.

These include a market watch list enhanced with SMS and email alerts notifications service that is available to all of KAMCO’s clients.

Furthermore, the website provides KAMCO clients with direct real-time access to their KAMCO Portfolio Holdings statement and a manifold of historical and analytical reports related to Kuwait Traded Stocks and companies.

The site’s analytical functions and its direct link to KSE and international Stock exchange markets provide a mutually reinforcing platform for KAMCO’s Research Publications & Reports.

By interweaving Microsoft Silverlight into the website, IDS has allowed KAMCO’s portal to create within seconds visually stunning animated charts depending on the visitor’s inputs.

The website is also integrated with KAMCO's existing in-house developed systems such as CRM, Research & Publications systems. It also handles all other website management features including Content Management, Classifieds, Voting, Latest News, and Others   

The portal is a public web application with a Back Office allowing authenticated users to remotely update the data contents on a daily basis. It is intended for huge amounts of information and information processing (search); for these reasons, optimization for performance is considered crucial for the success of this project.
