With the increasing number of News Apps in the region, thriving to be the best has become challenging and keeping up with the market demands became a necessity.
Al-Rai newspaper decided this year that they needed to upgrade their mobile news application by boosting performance and enhancing their interface design.
IDS designed and developed the new version of the application with a whole new interface following the latest trends on mobile.
As part of the new upgrade, IDS ensured the following changes were applied on the app:
- Huge performance improvements on the app in general, and on the news photos and navigation in particular.
- Scrollable categories have been moved to the side menu for easier navigation.
- Live Broadcast Service was upgraded. The photo streaming now has better quality and runs automatically without needing to switch to another software.
